Obituary for Lutricia Perry

Lutricia Ann Perry, 79, of Tampa Florida, entered God’s kingdom on April 25th, 2023. She was born January 26th, 1944, to James and Ruth Perry, her sister Rosita Robinson and nephew Christopher Robinson.

Lutricia was a loving mother and grandmother survived by her son Miguel, daughters Aminata and Ayana and granddaughters Madeleine and Giselle.

Upon graduation from Middleton High School in Tampa, Lutricia made the long journey up north and attended college in Pittsburgh, PA obtaining A.A degree in Fashion Design. Afterwards she decided to move to New York to be with close relatives and to pursue a career in fashion design. Soon after she began her family. She later went on to complete her A.S at Monroe College to better provide for her loved ones. She worked as an administrative assistant for close to 30 years at Columbia Presbyterian and then NYC Medical Center.

Lutricia was a wonderfully kindhearted fun person and with a stoic nature. She was cautious, confident, protective but above all trustworthy. No matter the circumstance she kept her integrity. She was an incredibly talented artist. She had a keen eye for fashion, excellent penmanship and awesome at home decoration.

Her love for her children was admired by all. She remained vigilant in raising her 3 children whom she thoroughly enjoyed throughout her entire life. She expressed her feelings to all as being a proud mother and grandmother. As a true southerner she welcomed all with a grace and sharp discernment of human nature. Her teachings will live on through her children and grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place between 4-7PM on May 3rd at McCall’s Bronxwood Funeral Home, 4035 Bronxwood Ave, Bronx, NY 10466. We welcome you.
