Uncle Rudy was a FAVORITE uncle of mine and I will miss him dearly. He was ALL the wonderful things my cousin Brenda stated and more. I don’t know what I’ll miss more, his laugh, his funny stories, his sense of humor or the sound of his soft spoken voice. I’m going to miss them all.
I agree with EVERYTHING my cousin Brenda said, she said it best. I love you uncle Rudy, you are missed. R.I.P. 🌹

Uncle Rudy has been an irreplaceable gemstone in my life. His kind heart, gentle spirit and soft tone always reminded me of the fond memories I have of his father (grandpa Rhett). Rudy shared genuine concern for all of his family near and far and had a way of chatting with you that left you thinking that I you were the most special niece of them all. I am sure each one of us (many) have undeniably experienced that pleasant thought.
His keen recollection of his school days in Beaufort, SC always amazed me. He actually recalled the names of most of his Robert Smalls High School classmates and where they journeyed after graduation. However, what I enjoyed most were the family stories accompanied by his signature smile or contagious laughter which would brighten a room transporting joyfulness even when hearts were heavy or sad.
It was a delight to listen to Uncle Rudy speak of his immediate family, oh how he loved aunt Della, his children and grandchildren dearly. He recently spoke with elation of his trip to Virginia and the enjoyable return home being chauffeured by his granddaughter. He loved every minute of it.
Now, we are left with the precious memories of a life so sweet etched in our minds. We mourn our loss, but we Praise God that uncle Rudy is not lost; he has finished his course and has won the VICTORY!
Rest in the Lord my dear uncle Rudy until we crown Him King of kings and Lord of lords!!!
Lovingly submitted by your niece Barbara Glaze aka “Brenda”
