Condolence: Auntie Amoy went on to Greater Glory on Monday 7th November. What I am going to miss most about this " Firecracker" is her ability to take life one day at a time. These are some of the ways that her sterling personality has imbrued certain traits in my psyche. Never late for work, always ready to suck the marrow out of life, she was our Trini Tina Turner, could make am pair of "Stillettoes talk, must be that Spanish Blood that flowed through her like a river to the sea. so profound that I find myself measuring her influence in " Fathoms" rather than feet. So deep I mean 2nd "Bocas Deep." MOst of all her lifelong friendship with my Nan "Battoolan PAtiram" who she also refered to as Miss Ali even as they faced their twilight years. Lastly I guess that the reason I have always "SIEMPRE" felt a soft spot for her in my heart is because she was dear for Nan in the Summer of 62 on that now legendary vacation to deep south Granville as Nan was transitioning from a Divorce So here here say Hi to My Dad, Clayton, THersea, Nan, Mr Aleong, Hugo, Wiggie, Noel James, Bill, Pompanero,Denise, See you in a few years..
